BURIAL OF WHYSALL
MUCH SYMPATHY EXPRESSED MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCE Received Nov. 16, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 15Whysall was buried at Mansfield. There were many manifestations of sympathy at the cutting off of his career. His death was due to blood poisoning, following a fall on a dance floor.
Mrs Carr, wife of the Notts captaw, placed Whysall’s blue cap on the coffin beside which his club-mates stood silently for a minute before it was taken to the grave, which was lined with the club’s colours, golden chrysanthemums and evergreens. Woodful and Chapman cabled their condolences.
