BOLT AT AUCKLAND WALKER AND EKLUND [ Per Press Association ] AUCKLAND, vet. 1. A professional wrestling contest between George Walker, heavyweight champion of Canada, and Clarence Eklund, light heavyweight champion of tho world, drew a large crowd at the Town Hall to-night. The contest ended in a draw after each man had secured one fall. Eklund gained a fall with a reverse armlock in the sixth round, Walker evening matters in the next round after making his opponent groggy by twice rushing him, gripping his legs and tipping him over backward. Eklund was the more scientific of the pair but Walker’s little extra weight and great strength equalised matters. The decision met with a mixed reception. Eklund and Farmer Vance meet next Monday night for the light-heavyweight championship of the world.
