POTATO CROPS SUFFER [Australis'.’: Assn.] Received April 17, 10 p.m. SYDNEY, April 17. Tasmanian potato crops suffered severely in the recent floods, and even some which were considered to have escaped, developed wet rot, and 1000 bags so affected were found amongst shipments reaching Sydney during the past week and had to be destroyed. Their market value was £lB per ton.
