DANNEVIRKE RETAIN THE NORDEN CUP
GRE T EXHIBITION OF HOCKEY GIVEN [ Per PreEb Association ] DANNEVIRKE, July 4. The second challenge match for the Norden Cup was played at Dannevirke to-day on a fast ground, the challengers being Wairoa. The holders gave a great exhibition of hockey, defeating Wairoa by 6 goals to nil, the' losers being outclassed in every department of the game. Goals were scored for the winners by J. Smith (3), W. Mclntosh (2), and Earle.
