CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST DAVIS TO CHALLENGE NEWMAN Received April 22, 5.5 p.m. (A.P.A.-Sun) LONDON, April 22. In the billiard championship contest Davis scored 8000 and Carpenter 5602Davis thus secures the right to challenge Newman for the title.
