KNOCKED DOWN

ELDERLY MAN INJURED CONDITION VERY SERIOUS [ Per Press Association, j PALMERSTON NORTH, Dee. 1. During the early hours uf Thursday morning a bus leaving Bunnythorpe after a dance knocked down an elderly man, Mr J. Brosnan. A doctor was sent for, but alt/ough at the time Mr Brosnan appeared little the worse for the accident, later in the morning he evidently collapsed. He was found unconscious near the Glaxo Factory where he was employed and when the doctor was again summoned he pronounced him suffering from concussion and internal injuries. Brosnan was removed to the hospital, his condition this evening being very serious.
