ANOTHER SHOCK
POTSDAM PETURBED DUCHESS TO MARRY EX-POLICE-MAN (A. & N.Z.) BERLIN, Nov. 7. Consternation prevails in the Court circles at Potsdam concerning the engagement of the Duchess Sophie Charlotte, who in 1926, divorced the Kaiser’s second son, Prince Frederxch, to Herr von Heoemann, ex-constable and ex-Dragoon Guards officer. Society is shocked by the prospect of her marrying a man considerably younger and far below her station in life.
