FAMOUS AIRMAN’S VIEW \ SUGGESTED SERVICE TO AUSTRALIA (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Nov. 7. “There is nothing that cannot be done provided people have faith and put down enough money,” declared Sir Alan Cobham, discussing the prospects of establishing an air service to Australia, using a giant flying boat similar to the type in which he is flying to Africa. The ideal plan, he said, seemed to be a flying boat to Cairo, a land' machine to India and a flying boat to Australia, then a land machine. He believed this would result In an efficient 21 days’ service.
