FAMOUS PICTURES STOLEN THEFTS FROM MOSCOW ABT GALLERY. (A. & N.Z.) MOSCOW, April 28. World-famous pictures have been stolen from the Art Gallery. They are Rembrandt’s “Christ,” Titian’s “Ecce Homo,” Corregio’s “Holy Family,” Carlo Dolche’s “Saint John” and Paysanc’s “Tortured Christ.” The thieves cut out the principal parts of the Rembrandt and Titian from their frames The pictures before the war were valued at £70,000, and are now of considerably higher value.
