THE STOCK MARKET

FEILDING SALE. LARGE YARDING OF SHEEP. (Per Press Association.) FEILDING, March 4. There was a large yarding of sheep of all classes at the Feilding sale today. Fats sold at about par to a shade better than Hast week. Good ewes were keenly sought after, and sold at prices slightly in advance of last week’s. Rape lambs (of which not many were yarded) also sold very well, but store lambs were inclined to drag. A few small pens of 2-tooth wethers sold well. A big line of 4-tooth to 5-year ewes from Pahiatua wHs passed in at 19s, this being the only bid.
