TALLOW MARKET
THE LONDON SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of March 2: —Tallow: 1615 casks offered, and 517 casks were sold. Prices are unchanged for good mixed. Fine mutton is neglected. Other descriptions are unchanged to 6d per cwt. lower. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, dated March 2: —Tallow: We quote present c.i.f. and e. values for the following descriptions,: Fine mutton, 37s per cwt.; good beef, 38s per cwt.; mixed, 35s 6d per cwt. Market quiet.
