RATA PLUNKET SOCIETY. [ From the “ Chronicle’s ” Special Correspondent. ] A successful garden party was held at Mrs A. H. Rhodes’ residence on Wednesday in aid of the Rata branch of the Plunkct Society. In the evening a dance was held at the Coronation Hall, when there was a large attendance, music being supplied by Miss Down and Mr T. Hartley, while Mr S. Gibbs carried out the duties of M.C. RABBIT BOARD. A meting of the Hunterville Rabbit Board was held on Tuesday. Mr B. G. Dalziell presided. It was resolved that a general poisoning of rabbits be held during the first week in March, ami that notices be sent out to that effect. BOWLING.
