SHORTAGE OF FEED
FOLLOWS SEVERE DROUGHT SERIOUS OUTLOOK IN QUEENSLAND SOME HOLDINGS IN A BAD WAY BRISBANE, Jan. 21. A pastoral inspector, (after a tour of the State, reports that with, the exception of the land east and south of Chayleville the country is in a bad state owing to the drought, and from three miles north of Chiarlevillo to Longreach it is in a deplorable condition.
It is only possible for the holdings to carry on with their present feed for five weeks.
