VALUABLE PICTURE
MISSING FROM EXHIBITION DETECTIVES INSTITUTE SEARCH THIRD THEFT IN RECENT MONTHS LONDON, Jan. 20. Detectives are searching for Romney’s “Picture of tin Officer,’’ which is believed to have been stolen for a connoisseur from the exhibition of the late W. A. Coats’ collection at the Royal Society of British Artists at the Haymarket. This is the third recent picture theft.
