COUNTY ADMINISTRATORS SEVERAL BODIES AFFECTED CLOSING OF NOMINATIONS Nominations for various local bodies affected by tho triennial county elections closed at noon yesterday. In several ridings of both county councils which have their headquarters at Wanganui elections will be necessary. Rural representatives on the Hospital Board, Harbour Board, and Power Board were returned unopposed. WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL Tn the Waitotara County elections will be necessary in the Waitotara, Tokoinaru, and Brunswick ridings, while in the Westmere riding there will bo no election. The nominations are as under: — Brunswick Riding. (Two Representatives) Arthur Newton Rodgers, nominated by Thomas Richard Allen and Benton Dawes. William D’Arcy Vipan Preston, nominated by Ethel E. Allen, and J. M. Law. Robert Laird, nominated by Donald Ross and Richard Farley. James Gilbert Campbell, nominated by Francis Webb and A. E. A. Palmer. Tokomaru Riding. (Two Representatives). Louis Turner, nominated by Reginald Richardson and R. J. Stevenson. L. T. Jones, nominated by R. F. Scott and R. C. H. Connor. Fred H. Allan, nominated by Ethel E. Allen and R. C. H. Connor. Waitotara Riding. (Three Representatives). Edmund Parsons, nominated by Cyril David Handley and T. Alexander. William Morrison, nominated by Hany’ Siddall ami Thomas Alexander. C. E. Billinghurst. nominated by John Davies and A. G. Goldsbury. A. G. Goldsbury, nominated by John Davies and C. E. Billinghurst. Westmere Riding (No Election Required). G. S. Russell, nominated by Richard Farley and George Mitchell. R. Farley, nominated by G. S. Russell and George Mitchell. Other Institutions.

The Waitotara County Council’s representatives on the Harbour Board, Hospital Board and Power Board were returned unopposed:—■ Messrs C. G. Russell and W. Morrison for the Harbour Board, Mr W. Morrison for the Power Board, and Mr W. Ritchie for the Hospital Board. WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL For tho Wanganui County Council the following were returned unopposed: Duncan Mackintosh (Kaitoke), Donald McGregor (Puma), A. D. Mackintosh (Kaukatea), Arthur H. Collins and T. Hine (Mangamahu) and J. T. Kennedy (Upper Wangaehu). There will be elections in the Morikau and Mangawhero Ridings, for which nominations were as under. . (Names of nominators were not supplied) : Morikau Riding. I (One Representative). Gregor McGregor. Arthur Maurice Campbell. Mangawhero Riding. (Three Representatives), William Egmont Broderick. William Craig. Hugh Hamilton. John O’Neill. Allan Robinson. Donald Ross. Other Bodies. For the Harbour Board, Messrs A. Robinson and F. H. Allen; for the Power Board, Mr A. Robinson, and for the Hospital Board Mr W. E. Broderick, were returned unopposed.
