AMATEUR ROAD RACE WON BY T. HAYES. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 17. The Wellington Amateur Athletic Club’s 38-mile cycle road race was won by T. Hayes, with a handicap of nineteen minutes. The fastest times were registered by J. Carswell. Ihr. 38min. 55secs., and G. Bright, Ihr. 39min. 40secs. ' ROUND-THE-MOUNTAIN RACE.
