REVALUATION BOARD. REDUCED PRICES. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 8. Soldier settl&rs on the Hauraki Plains, Torehape, Manguwhero, and Patetonga haVe been advised that the ReValuation Board has greatly reduced the prices of their sections. Each case Was considered separately, but the .general reduction appears to be about 50 per cent, prices being reduced from £lB to £5 per acre. The average reduction is about £7 per acre. The Dominion Board also recommended that arrears of rent be written off and rent remitted for two to four years, and that the Land Board grant loans.
