EARLY MORNING DIVISION SUPPLY BILL PASSED. At an early hour on Saturday morning a division was taken on the amendment to the Imprest Supply Bill, moved by Mr T. K. Sidey (Lib.-Lab., Dunedin South), “That in the case of public servants who are in receipt of remuneration not exceeding £320 per annum, the Government be recommended to make provision for the payment of al* wages and salaries in all branches of the public service equivalent to the 1914 standard, measured in purchasing power. ’ ’ The amendment was lost by 37 votes to 34. 34.
