THE APPIN MURDER
APPEAL UPHELD. Received June 30, B.JO J.m. SYDNEY, June 30. William Simpson, who was found guilty of the murder of Constable Flynn and Mr. Clift, at Appin, and was sentenced to death, appealed against his sentence. The appeal was upheld, and a new trial ordered.
