MENTAL DEFECTIVES’ COMMISSION

(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 30. The members of the Mental Defectives’ Commission left for the South to-night. They are the Hon. W. H. Triggs (chairman), Dr. Ada Paterson, General Sir Donald McGavin, C. E. Matthews, J. Beck. On the way they intend visiting the Otekaike Mental School for Boys. They will hold sittings at Dunedin and Invercargill, also visiting the Borstal Institution. A sitting at Christchurch is to be held on the way back to Wellington.
