KAITOKE NOTES.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) A very successful plain and fancy dress masquerade dance was held in the Kaitoke Hall last Thursday evening. Although the weather was very unpromising there was quite a large gathering, there being many visitors from Wanganui and the surrounding districts. Mr Copley’s music was all that could be desired, and extras were kindly played by Miss Wilson and Mr Kirk. Mr S. Allcoek acted as M.C. and carried out his duties in a very able manner. The floor was in excellent order, and those present seemed to have a very enjoyable evening. The Social Club is to be congratulated on the success of the entertainment.,
