THE CHILDREN'S MISSION,

The Rev. Palgrave Day, who .."is now conducting the children's mission, has with him a series of excellent lantern slides of "Pilgrim's Progress.' He has promised to giv&,-' the lecture during the week if a la»j tern and equipment are available. The children are looking forward to the lecture and *lr Davy would be pleased to hear before this evening's meeting from any willing to lend and operate a lantern for this purpose. Although the weather has proved so inclement, and the fact of the schools being closed has not helped the advertising of tho; Mission, there has been an excellent attendance each evening at St. Paul's Hall. Mr Davy has an excellent 'way" with children, opening with puzzles, limericks, etc., and he holds their attention throughout the rest of the meeting. The competitions are proving very interesting. Mr Davy is'traversing "Pilgrim's Progress," which • t'ht treats in a way that holds the attention of his juvenile and adult-oudi-tors. The remaining meetings \Kil" be held each day this week at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., in St. Paul's Hall, and i' is hoped that the children will bo en couraged to attend the meetings, which are undenominational and aim at the maintenance of- a Christian, ideal in the minds" of the children. Patients are welcomed and-^hey will find the meetings interesting <
