YESTERDAY'S PROGRAMME.«

Yesterday . morning Flight-Com-mander Robertson, who is visiting Wanganui as ; the deputy of Lord Jellicoe, visited the Avenue School, where he was greeted by about 250 of the pupils, who received him "at the main gate. An interesting ceremony was afterwards held in the quadrangle, at the conclusion of which Mr Aitken, the headmaster, .asked Flight-Commander Robertson whether it would be possible to exchange the School's White Ensign tor a White Ensign belonging to the Nfey Zealand.
