The latest ArmyLListt t says an English contemporary, shows that there is a sum of from £10,000 to £12,000 in soliders' bnlances he'd for distribution -imongst the next-of-kin or other relatives. The itmounts range from £50 odd to a shilling or two. A private in the Army Service Corps has a balance of £50 13s 3d. whilst a gunner in fcha Royal Field Artillery has 1/10 to his r-redit. A Northumberland Fusilier has left 2/5 to be disposed of. Many of tine balances are between £20 and £30, and quite a remarkable proportian amounts to £3 or £4.
