WANGANUI DISTRICT NURSING COMMITTEE.
The usual monthly meeting was heicl in the Board's office on Monday. . Present: Mrs. McKenzie (chair), Mesdames Spurdle,. Koche Deem, Grant, Keesing, Williams, Silk, Reeve, Har~ per and Christie. Apologies for absence wore received from Mrs Oummins and Miss Tay.'or. Nurse Beswick reported as follows:— 423 visits paid, 10 new patients enrolled, 10 discharged, one sent to the hospital, leaving 19 on the list. A motion of sympathy was passed to Mrs. Sampson, in her recent bereavement.
The Visiting Committee, Mrs Silk ani Mrs Williams, reported that they found everyone well cared for.
The committee desire to thank the following for donations : Mr Desmond, Mrs Seed, Mrs W. E. Smith, Mrs Ross, the Red Cross Depot (per Mrs GiffordMoore), a parcel of surgical dressings and bandages; Mrs Suisted, a parcel of woollen goods. The committee have on their list* several in need of boys' clothing, and would be glad of gifts of the same. Parcels may be left at the Hospital Board office.
Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Keesing were appointed visitors for the month of May. '
