A SENSATIONAL INCIDENT,

DANNEVIKKE, October 10, ' Dannevirke has, produced a- boinbthrower in John Eric Matsen; a middle-1 aged, one-legged married man, whb r i& separated from his, wife. He appeared at the Magistrate's Court, and was remanded on a charge of having placed blasting powder on the premier ■} occupied by James Cotterill. Accused had a grudge against Cotterill over eoine family trouble. It is alleged that he made a bonb out of blasting powder and an bid sock, attaching thereto a fuse. This, in the middle of the night, lie .threw into his rival's bedroom, greatly frightening him-(as he admitted he intended to do), and also slightly burning him about the head and face.'
