A PRETENDER SENTENCED.
AUCKLAND, Oct. 10. Mary Elizabeth Curry, an elderly woman, on charges under the Tohunga Suppression Act of attempting to mislead Maoris by pretending to possess supernatural powers, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment. ; ■
