EFFORTS TO SECURE PLANS OF FORTS.
. NEW YORK, Feb. 4. It is estimated that there are ten thousand spies in the United States. Ihe Secret Service admits that Germans endeavoured to secure plans of the fortifications of the principal ports, but widespread plans have been laid to cope with the spy menace.
