MILITARY SERVICE BOARD.

DUNEDIN, December 20. The Otago Military Service Board sat at Dunedin to-day. Wiliam Cooper, telegraphist, appealed on the ground of being over age, being born in 1868. The appeal was allowed.

Josiah Andrew Dysart, railway porter, appealed on the ground of undue hardship and family circumstances. Appeal dismissed.

James Alexander Walquist. asphalting contractor, appealed on the ground that his enlistment would be contrary to the public interest because of Ms occupation, and would cause uudue hardship. The appeal wa~.- dismissed,but appellant is not to be called up till February 20. The hearing of other cases is proceeding-
