GARRISON BAND RECITAL.
The seventh and last recital of the season wns given by the Gerrison Band last evening in the Opera House. a large audience beinr/ present. The band were assisted by Miss Franklvn Brown, and Mr W. TT. McCanl. the former giving a -vocal solo very tastefully, rral tho latter playing a very dninty violin solo which found so much favour with the audience that he had to bow bis acknowledgments. Mrs McCanl and Mrs L. Sheriff were responsible for the accompaniments, which wore nil tint could ho desired. The band items ngain called forth unstinted praise from the audience, and Onduetar Wade nnd the members oF the band must fe?l more than pleased at the attendance nnd sunport, nccorrled them in their efforts to provide refined and artistic music. Tne recitals just concluded have been the most successful, both musically ,?.nd financially. that iho band have ever held, nnd re are asked by tV bn^d mnnagemeru to thank the public for their atterdnnce and support, nnd to especially thank all those who have so kindly assisted.
