THE NIGHT SIDE OF LONDON.

At the Opera House this evening, "Tho Night Side of London," the drama which deals with modern London, will mark the appearance iv Wanganui of an entirely new Marlow dramatic company. The production is fresh from its London and* Australian success. A I feature of tho piece here will be the fact that the drama will be presented on exactly the same scale as in Australia. "The Night Side of London" has proved to the tastes of the audiences wherever staged, and there tare plenty of th filling incidents and dramatic sensations in the drama. There are four acts and numerous scenes, embracing the village at Closeminster. a typewriting office in London with the girls at work, a view of the London streets by night with the snow falling, the interior of tho Night Club in London, with the well-dressed crowd and richly liveried servants. Naomi Merrick's apartments and a hut on the Thames. The drama presents'a vivid picture of life in London by night, and has something of the problem drama about it too, so that it should appeal to all sections of the theatre community. The cast is the identical one which played the piece in the centres of Australia., and includes such well-known names as Misses Elwyn Haivey, Oriel Hotson. Adele Holmes, Ruby Davies, Pearl- Hojmrieh, Messrs. Robert Inman, Vivian Edwards. D'Arcy Kelway, George Diawe, Thos, E. Tilton, P.- V. Scully, : .and many others too numerous to mention. To-morow evening the company will stage for the first time Walter Melville's sensational drama, " The Girl Who Took the Wrong Turning." The piece is said to depict the pains and penalties of illordered lives and in the end to elevate the true woman and the true man. But before this is accomplished, many exciting scenes and crises and insight into tho life of what is termed a woman of the world, pass before the oudience.
