On the occasion of his "recent visit to Australia, Mr William Perry, tho well-known Lincoln and Romney breeder, of Masterton. paid visits of inspection to the Haivlveshnrv College "nd Wagga Agricultural School in NewSouth Wales. Tn conversation with n " Wairarapa Age" representative, Mr Perry /Stated that he was delighted with his visit to the Hawkesbury ColIp'ie. He found in Mr Potts, the principal of the college, a man of brilliant attainments who is doing excellent work for the Common non Ith. T^o *j+ o upon which the Hawkesbury College stands is about two thousand! acres in extent. There arc about IGO young men students at the institution. The whole of the work on the farm is don© by tho students, under expert instruction. Mr Perry has come back an enthusiastic supporter of the movement to establish au a^himu../'.:! «_o.. Agricultural High Schools in the Dominion. Ho thinks that one college, on tho lines of JUaiVKCsburj, wtmid ue auiplo for New Zealand.
