■ At a public meeting held on Tuesday, Mr. Thompson in the chair, it was decided to hold the annual picnic on Thursday, 14th inst. A goodly sum was collected at' the meeting and weather permitting, everything points to a su'cce&sftrl 'function. -The meeting w-ill take pla-ce in-Mr. James Gray's paddock and it is hoped, that all the schoolchildren and their friends will attend.
