INQUEST.

WELLINGTON, June 22

An inquest on the body of feha'rles Brown, a labourer, ~'who' was found dead in Lambton Quay police-ceils on Sunday ovening, was concluded to-day. The Verdict w_as that the deceased died from the effects of arsenic poison self-ad ministered. "I desire," concluded the Coroner, "to add by way of a rider, that the evidence has shown mo distinctly that the police Look every care of the man while he was in their custody, and did all they eoula for him, and there is no blame in any way attachable to them. They expended every care over him."
