AUCKLAND, June 18

Judge Edwards, in the course of a civil case in the Supreme Court, this morning, commented sarcastically upon the provision in the Consolidated Statutes altering the order of procedure with reference to a' judge. He said anyone knew what was law before the so-called consolidations,, but nobody knew what was the law now. What; were called additions must amount to a volume almost as big as the Consolidated Statutes themselves.
