DALGETY AND CO.'S STOCK REPORT.
At our Hunterville sale on Tuesday, 23rd inst., we had a small yarding of | sheep and small entry of cattle, which sold as follows: —Small lambs to 4s 9d, s.m. ewes 8s 4d to 8s 6d, Romney rams to lg, empty cows £2 to £2 15s, mixed ) weaners 17s 6d, bulls 255, porkers 265. At our Taihape sale on Wednesday, 24th inst., we had a fair yarding of i sheep and small entry of cattle, and price ruled as follows:—Small lambs to 4s, aged ewes 3s to 4s, s.m. ewes 7s, 3year steers £2 7s 6d, 3-year do. £3 10s, forward cows £2. At our Palmerston sale on Thursday I we had a. good entry of sheep and a fair [ yarding of cattle.*' Prices: —Mixed 2tooths 8s Bd, small lambs os to 5s 3d, ' fat bullocks £5 12s _6d to £6 4s, 3s-year bullocks to £5, fat cows £3 15s to £4 I Bs, forward cows £2 los to £3, fat heifI ers £3 8s to £3 9s 6d, 2^-year steers to £3 7s 6d.
