' Ths yNew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) report fc£ .the week ending 26th March: — At Rangiwaliia, on Tuesday, a good number of sheep came forward,, and an almftgi' ti&jbal clearanco was effected. The demand was much better, and a healthier tone prevailed. Quotations :—F.m. ewes 8s 3d, cull ewes 2s 9d, 2-tooth ewes lls, mixed' age' ewes 7s,' mixed lambs 5s Cd, 6s, 6s 4d, 6s 6d, 2-tooth wethers 9Sf 2 and 4-tooth wethers .9s and 10s. At -Kimbdltdn, on Tuesdaj^, there was only a small and sales were effected at the following prices:—4, 6, and f.m. ewes 10s Id, lambs 6s Bd, 2tooth wethers 9s 2d. At Mr Spurway's sale, on Thursday, there was a good attendance of buyers. Tho quality of the stock was above the average,' being heavy woolled Lincolns. Mr Spurway having sold his property, showed an inclination to meet the market, and the result was a most successful sale, everything being sold under ihe hammer. Quotations : —2-tooth ewes 12s 7d, 4-tooth ewes 13s 4d, 6-tooth ewes 13s 6d, 4 and 5-year ewes lls ld t picked ewe lambs 9s id, ewe lambs 7s Id, wether lambs 8s 9d, stud Lincoln rams 35s to £4 2s 6d, dairy cows £3 2s 6d to £5 15s, 3-year steers £4 18s, 18-months steers £2 10s and £2 13s, weaner heifers 245. , At Feilding, on Friday, we had a good entVy of sheep and a small yarding of cattle, and have to report a total clearance at late rates.
