GISBORNE, July 11. A young man named Norman Fraser, with previous convictions against him, was to-day sentenced to, six months for stealing £4, which he grabbed^from a fellow boarder named Timothy Toomey, who occupied the same room. Accused was described by the prosecution as a racecourse guesser." After running off with the money he tauntingly told the owner of the money to go and tell the police.
