Tha New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Comipjany (Feilding branch) report: — At Apiti and KimbofAom we had fair yardings of stock. All classes of sheep and cattle advanced in value, especially young steers and .hoggets. At the Fielding sale on Friday, 29th ult., a moderate number of sheep and cattle were penned, the latter consisting principally of- dairy stock. Good dairy stoick close to profit soldi well. Backward heifers were difficult to quit. 'Withers and good hoggettg sold-remarkably well, especially the former. Kimbolton and Apiti prices':—Milch cows (spring calvers), £3 15s to £8; 18----months steers, £8 ss; mixed cattle, £3 2s ; veariiiigs, 30s ; emjpty heifers, £3 10s; forward cows, £4 7s and £4 10s ; fat cows, £5 15s to £6; springing- heifers, £4 10s ; •vrearaars, 335; store -wethers, 10a lid to 12s 6d; mixed hoggets, 6s 9d to 8s 9d; fa* ewes, 18s. Feilding prices:—Weaners, 25s 6d to 323 6d; milch cows (spring calvers), £6 to £10; springing heifers. £3.12s 6d to £6, and a good line at £7 9s; 2-year steers, £4 2s ; fat cows, ,£7 12s 6d to £8 6s ; 3year steers, £5 ss,;.etore cows, £3 to £4; yearlings), 32s 6d; hoggets, 5s Bd. to 7s 3d; and a good line of 300 at 10s ; wethers, 9s lldi to 12s Id; fat ewes', 13s lOd; empty ewesl, 6a Id to 7s lOd.
