RECORD PRICES FOR FAT STOCK.

WELLINGTON, September 2. Record prices were obtained at the Johnsonville sale .yards to-day • for fat stock. In the case of heavy-wt-ighb bullocks the prices ootained showed an advance of about 5s per 100 lbs. on ia»t week's sale. The best figure was £13 7s 6d. A good many were botoght at prices above £14, all for the Sydney market. The local butaheiis clould not look at the beasts at the prices offered.
