FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S JOHNSONVILLE REPORT.
By Telegraph. (Special to ' ohronicle.") JOHNSONVILLE, December 3. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report as to their Johnsonville sale as follows :—■ ■ At our market to-day wo had an average supply of bullocks, tfhese were mainly of prime and medium quality. Prices showed no improvement, and a dull dragging sale remitted. *Ox beef made 20s per 100 lbs., an occasional pen making up to 21s In sheep we had a full entry, mainly comprising good-quality ewes. There was poor competition, and prices dropped fully 2* per head in sympathy with the Home market. The lambs' entered Were of medium quality only, and sold freely. Quotations — Cattle.—^Best bullocks £8 10s to £8 17s 6d, .small do. £7 10s fo £8 ss, light do. £6 10s to £7 ss. Sheep.—Shorn wethers 10s 6d, woolly do. lls lid, shorn ewes 9s lOd, woolly do. 11s, light ewes 7s sd, fair lambs 9s to 10s 6d, poor do. 3s 6d to 6s 6d.
