Results: — Trentham Handicap, 11 furlongs: 3/9, Vivid Night, 10.12 (Midwood), 1; 11/11, Tau-uru, 9.0 (Fagan), 2; 9/10, Believe, 9.0 (Connor), 3. Won by a nose; head. Te Awe Awe was fourth. Time, 2.21. j. Wellington Stakes, 5 furlongs: 1/1, Subdued, 7.9 (S. Waddell), 1; 2/2, Nawab, 7.12 (T. Green), 2; 3/3, Colais, 6.12 (W. F. Ellis), 3. Also started: Tamaiti Pai, Bridge Acre. Won by three lengths; half a head. Time, 58 3-ssecs— 3 track record. Apprentices Plate, 7 furlongs: 5/4, Tideless, 7.8 (W. Carter), 1; 1/1, Vera Lynn. 8.4 (J. Barnett), 2; 5/4, Wee Bun, 7.8 ,3. High Ideal was fourth. Tideless and Wee Bun were bracketed. Time, 1.27.
