ALFREDTON

YOUNG FARMERS CLUB'S MONTHLY MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Alfredton Young Farmers' Club. During the month a dance was held in aid of club funds. The club members also took part in the district stock judging competition at Carterton. During the evening a club debate was held to select a team to take part in the district debating competition. The title of the debate was: "That girls should be entered into the club as club members." Mr Napier, who kindly acted as judge, declared those who spoke for the affirmative to be the winners. Supper was served.
