COUNTY AFFAIRS
SOUTH WAIRARAPA COUNCIL MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Wairarapa South County was hold today, Councillor Court presiding. There were also, present Councillors Duncan McGregor, J. K. Strang, L. S. Gallon, R. Rayner. E. W. Allen and A. E. Reid. Apologies were received from Councillors Cameron and A. McGregor. The treasurer reported a credit balance at the bank of LG,221 0s 2d, with receipts since last meeting amounting to £649 ss. Accounts amounting to £2,060 5s 9d were passed. Reports from the Water Race Overseer. Mr 11. J. McKenzie, concerning the Taratahi water race and the Carrington water races were adopted.
