A boy named Bom, aged 9, «u killed oa the railway, near Dipton, on Saturday awning. He had been aent by hie father to aw if any of hie oattle wen on the line, and it u (apposed that he mnat have fallen and ■tanned himself or had a aonitroke, m when observed by the driver he was lying etew to the rails, and remained motionlaw till the ooweataher sttnek him, the bank of hla head being dwtroyed.
