WAIBABAPA BIPLE ASSOCIATION. The Association’s third annual meeting commenced at the Papawai range at 9 o'clock this morning. A number of the Volunteers and others, members of the Association arrived in Qreytown last night and ware quartered at the various hotels in tbs town. Every preparation was made by the eom* mittee, and everything that was required to make the Wimbledon regulations as workable as possible wu carried out in preliminary. The new targets recently sent up from Wei* lington were erected and prepared for tho occasion; the new system of marking and scoring appeared to be answering well this morning. Color Sergt Willaaon, of the QrsytoVn Bifles, who had been entruated with the catering, was evidently doing hie best to give satisfaction. We ate unable to give many particulars to-dsy. A rifle match took place at Papawai cn Boxing Day between a team selected from the Qreytown Bifle Volunteers and a team selected from the Papawai corps.
