From the Town and Country Journal of iltli instant wo take the following : Wool, Tallow, etc.—At the various wool and tallow sales during the past week, scoured wool sold at from Ud to 21d per ib ; handwashed, l id to I'/d ; fleece (washed), superior clips, lid to Kid ; fair, 13d to 11J ; inferior, l()!d to 12id ; fleece (greasy), superior clips, per ib, 8:1 to lOd ; fair, 7d to B£J ; inferior, ■3Ad to 0)d ; locks, Ac., 2d to 3d per lb. Sheepskins, old to o|d ; pelts and shortgrowth, 2d to 5d per lb. Tallow, per cwt, mutton, 23s to 30s ; beef, 27a to 26s ; station, 21s to 265. Hides, extra weights, well cured, per ib, IKi to -ip d, heavy 4d to 11 1, medium 371 to IJ, light 311 to 3 4 ! d, inferior Id to 2id. Dairy Stock.—Milch cows were in moderate supply, and superior ones sold readily, other sorts were dull and hard to quit. Prices averaged £0 2s 6d to £ll each. Fat cows were scarce, and commanded high figures, ranging from £5 5s to £8 Is each. Dairy Produce.—A large supply forward, and dull of sale Best butter rolls sold from Is 3d to 2s 3d, inferior quality lid to Is per lb ; best butter in keg. Is 3d to 2s Hd per lb ; inferior from 3d per lb. Too timber market is excessively dull. Horses.—Best saddle ;rud harness horses, from £25 to £65 ; medium do, from £lO to £l7 ; weeds, £1 to £5; active draught and van horses, from £ls to £2B 15s; heavy draught, from £25 to £3B 3s,
