FINCH ROSEBOWL. • Playing in the Waipa Association's Finch Rosebowl competition at Pirongia on Wednesday afternoon, the Phongia ladies' team defeated Hairini by two goals to one. For the winners the goals were (registered by Miss I. Beet, while Miste Z. Spiers scored for Haii-in. Mr R. Bell was th referee. WAtPA'S WHITE HORSE CUP TEAM. The following players will represent Waipa-in the "Country Week" tournament which opens at Auckland on Monday next, during which period the White Horse Cup will again be competed for:— J. Foster (Te Rahu), R. Spiers ('Paterangi), R. Hinton (Waratahs), A. O. Finch (Ramblers), J. Sinnott (Ramblers), C. Bell (Paterangi), F. Battson (Waratahs), B. Gibson (Ramblers), G. Wood (Waratahs), C. J. Spiers (Paterangi), E. Melville ((Ramblers). V. Collison (Ramblers), C. Hancock (Paterangi), T. Macky (Paterangi), L. Karl (Paterangi), E. Bell (Pirongia).
