THE SOUTH AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. AT TE AWAMUTU ON MONDAY. The South Auckland Amateur Boxing Championships to be held in Te Awamutu on Monday, August 3, under the management of the Te Awamutu Young Men’s Institute and Hamilton Boxing Association, promises to be the biggest amateur boxing tourney staged in the Waikato for some years past. , , Several- late entries from Auckland, Ngaruawahia and King Country bring the total entries up to sixty, but as a number of the competitors have entered in two classes the committee hope to finish the championships in the one night by making a start with the eliminating bouts by 7 p.m.
