ARCHBISHOP’S ESCAPE,

THAME'S, Friday. Aichbishop Averill, while .en route fi om Auckland to Thames, met with a motor mishap after leaving Pokeno when the service car he wa s travelling in was run into by another car, which stripped the service car’s running board and one wheel. All the archbishop's luggage, including his robes, were scattered in the mud, but nobody was injured.
